Maybe if it was back in my 20s. Still in the Army. Stupid strong enough to put up with excesses of running and weight and temperature and it all. I did do 101 mile road marches with 40 pound rucks back in the day.
Now, not so much. I'm 56 and don't recover like I used to. I don't heal like I used to. And minor things like heat and cold goes right to my bones.
So I wake up just before dawn, and head out. When so you run in the summer?
